Area of application:
The key applications for the mag-flux A magnetic-inductive sensor (MID) are in flow measurement of electrically conductive liquids such as e.g. water, pulps, pastes, slurries, acids, solvents, lyes, emulsions, or slurries, sand or water mixes, including liquids with a minimum conductivity of 20 / 3 µS/cm.
The magnetic-inductive flow meter is used in the following industries:
- Plant and mechanical engineering
- Fire safety
- Chemicals
- Building services equipment
- Foodstuffs
- Metal extraction, production and processing
- Paper and cellulose
- Oil and gas
- Shipping
- Water and wastewater industry
- Cement and minerals
Advantages of the magnetic-inductive flow meter:
- Reliability (long-term stability, service life)
- Minimal maintenance requirements
- Simple commissioning
- High measurement accuracy
- Flexible installation position (however the measuring tube must be completely full at all times)
- Manufacturer’s application expertise
- Short lead times
Special features of the flow meter:
- For nominal sizes from DN 15 (1/2") to DN 1000 (40"), on request up to DN 2000 (80")
- Fully welded steel fitting (robust and interference-free)
- Signal amplifier in sensor
- Measuring tube internal diameter from 15 mm (0.591")
- Pressure stages to 250 bar
Measuring tube lining:
- Hard rubber
- Soft rubber
- PTFE
- Custom linings
Various process connections and materials:
- Flange: DIN, ANSI, JIS
- Clamp on
- Others on request
